What to Expect at Your First Chiropractic Visit
Your first visit at JP Chiropractic is designed to identify what may be contributing to your symptoms and determine whether our services are appropriate for you.
1. Conversation and Health History
We discuss what brought you in, how your symptoms affect daily life, relevant health history, previous injuries or treatment, and what you hope to accomplish. Clear information helps us tailor the examination to your needs.
2. Physical Examination
Your examination may include posture and movement assessment, range-of-motion testing, orthopedic and neurological tests, palpation, and other condition-specific procedures. X-rays or other imaging are recommended only when clinically indicated.
3. Findings and Recommendations
We explain the findings in understandable language, answer questions, and discuss treatment options, alternatives, expected costs, and any need for referral. In some cases treatment may begin on the first visit; in others, additional review is appropriate first.
